Principal's Message

What is up Panthers!?!?

What a great first week! It really seems everyone is happy to be back and getting back into the school year vibe! Do you still have those burning questions or can't wait to learn more about what to expect this year? Well guess what...? Back to School Night is tomorrow!!!

TK, 1st/2nd/3rd 6p-6:30p
4th/5th 6:45p-7:15p

This is your opportunity to meet the teachers, learn about what to expect this year and ask questions! While you may have specific questions or concerns regarding your student, please refrain from asking student specific questions. B2SN is meant as a general overview of what to expect this year. Please know you can always reach out to your teachers for specific student questions or concerns.

Want to volunteer this year?
Check out the following to determine what level of clearance you will need.
We will have Livescan available on campus for B2SN from 5p-7p.
Walk N Roll is back!
Get those bikes, roller skates, skateboards and scooters ready because our Walk N Roll program kicked off today! Every student who walks, rides or carpools to school every Wednesday will get to participate in our program. Earn cool charms and keychains for helping our community and planet. You can track how many miles you've traveled, how much pollution you have spared and other cool metrics.

Got your card from last year? That will work. Need a new card, you can get one this Wednesday. More information will be shared soon!

Please remember:
Parkmead is a closed campus.
Unless there is a special event, we ask that only students and staff be on campus throughout the day unless you have signed in and received a visitor pass. While we love families and community, this is for safety reasons. Please help us keep all of our students and staff safe.

Student Drop Off
Please make sure students are not dropped of before 7:50a and 8:40a on Wednesdays. While staff is on site, there is no student supervision until these times.

Student Pick Up
TK, Kinder and 3rd grade students can be picked up on Azalea Circle (along with their siblings). Please make sure to communicate where you will pick them up to minimize after school confusion. All other grade levels should be picked up in the front of the school on Magnolia, unless they have a 3rd grade sibling.

Have a wonderful week everyone, can't wait to see you all tomorrow night!

Stay positive Panthers and don't forget to smile!
