The Walnut Creek School District encourages every student to attend school every day! School attendance has a direct impact on student achievement. To avoid unnecessary absences, please follow these tips:

• Only miss school due to illness such as vomiting, dirrahea, or fever within the last 24 hours.
• Schedule medical appointments and extended trips when school is not in session. 
• If your child seems anxious about going to school, talk to the teacher, principal, your doctor for advice.

If your child must be absent, please be sure to report the absene as soon as possible.
